- I assume from your message that the Sportster is an internal modem. If so,
- and you have not disabled Com1, the IRQ4 conflict may be causing the problem.
- Should be fairly simple to temporarily disable Com1 and see what happens.
- Also you may wish to try selecting a different IRQ on the modem (jumpers),
- and see if you can get that working.
